Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots

So yes, I know it is late but I got my android recently so I am doing my review on the movie tie-in i.e. Puss in Boots. The game is really good but I won’t say that it is a replacement for the original one, although it does add a certain panache with the Puss in Boots and the Bandito mode. Obviously, the game is designed keeping in mindthe movie and the whole environments, one such example could be the renaming of the dojo as the stash.

Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots features two game modes i.e. Desperado and Bandito. Desperado is the general awesome mode we all know and love from Fruit Ninja. You have to keep slashing fruits as they appear and avoid bombs. If you slash a bomb, game over and if you let a fruit get away un-slashed, you lose one of the three lives you have (well it should have been nine ;)). Lasting longer in Desperado mode will let get you high on the leader boards. Oh and there are also magic beans which appear every 50 point which either return you one life (if any is lost) or a 25 point bonus if all lives are there.

Then there is the Bandito Mode, which while adding a certain flare to the game keeps the player immersed in long fruit-slashing sessions. So there are four levels and in the first three there are four challenges (per level) each selected randomly. The fun part is that each of these challenges brings something new to the floor. Either the fruits are floating or are tumbling down jumbled with bombs. So in my opinion this is a must buy. Let me know what you think by commenting below.
